HEADING TO MILANO?: Reports that soccer star David Beckham may be on his way to play for the A.C. Milan team come January no doubt sent a frisson of excitement down the spine of many a fashion designer in the city — and celebrity-hungry paparazzi. The unquestionable appeal of the England midfielder, who now plays for Los Angeles Galaxy and would be “on loan” for a few months to the Milan team, makes him an ideal guest on TV shows or at social events — especially given Victoria Beckham, the other half of the Posh and Becks power couple. But don’t expect a permanent presence for Posh: the Beckhams always spend the month of January in London, so she’d be there with their children. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is expected to officially confirm the move on Friday.
