HEADING TO AMERICA: Winser London, the British brand launched in 2013 by Kim Winser — the former boss of Pringle of Scotland, Aquascutum and Agent Provocateur — will make its first foray into the U.S. market on Sept. 29.

The collection, which is sold online as well as at department stores including Harvey Nichols and John Lewis, will be sold at Flats Napa Valley in California. Winser will travel to Saint Helena, Calif., for the launch.

The brand said that the deal with Flats marked the beginning of a series of strategic partnerships with global retailers, and that it had been approached by retailers from Paris and Moscow with offers that are under consideration.

Winser’s strategy for building her primarily online business is not a traditional wholesale model but sells to “select ‘ambassadorial’ retailers who are loved by their customers and have similar values of strong modern customer service.”
