HAPPY FEET: Happy Socks has tapped artist Curtis Kulig for an upcoming Valentine’s Day collaboration, incorporating his signature “Love Me” stylized script on three sock styles for the apropos holiday. Kulig, who worked for Shepard Fairey as a teenager, got his start scrawling his “Love Me” message on urban streetscapes. Seguing into fine art, Kulig has a string of fashion collaborations under his belt, including projects with Nike, Vans, Catherine Malandrino, Obey Clothing, Bobbi Brown cosmetics and Smashbox cosmetics. “I’m a huge fan of socks, they’re probably the first thing I notice on a person,” said Kulig of his designs for Sweden-based Happy Socks, which is licensed to United Legwear in the U.S. and Canada.
