Lisa Perry Opening in East Hampton

The designer conceptualized the 1,800-square-foot space at at 67 Main Street, and worked with Harper Design Build to realize the project.

HAMPTONS MOVE: Lisa Perry is opening a boutique at 67 Main Street in East Hampton, N.Y., next month, bringing her playful aesthetic to a retail strip that includes Steven Alan, Intermix and RRL, as well as Dylan’s Candy Bar. This being a Hamptons town, the merchandise will include beachy items including towels, swimwear, cover-ups and beach bags, as well as Perry’s apparel and home collections (and a capsule of her favorite Manolo Blahnik summer shoes). There will also be an area dedicated to social e-commerce platform Fancy.com, with exclusive merchandise. This marks Fancy.com’s first foray at retail (Perry’s son David is its head of business development and strategy).

Perry designed the 1,800-square-foot space, and worked with architect Christine Harper of Harper Design Build to realize the project. The all-white interior of the permanent location will be furnished with a mix of midcentury pieces, including a sofa from Warren Platner for Steelcase and chairs by Wendell Castle and Harry Bertoia.

“East Hampton was the obvious choice since it is very close to my house where I spend the summer,” Perry said. “It also helps that East Hampton has great shopping and foot traffic.”
