GUCCI HIRE: Just in time for award season, Gucci has hired Greg Nise as its Los Angeles-based associate director of worldwide entertainment industry relations. Nise didn’t have to make a long trip to arrive at his new gig; for the last 12 years he has worked at Giorgio Armani, most recently as the L.A.-based senior director of entertainment industry public relations. Both press offices and VIP showroom are based above the brands’ respective Rodeo Drive boutiques.
At Gucci, Nise joins former Armani staffers Susan Chokachi and Lila Staab, who are based in New York and Europe, respectively.
