Los Angeles Boutique Belle Gray Shutters

There’s no word yet on whether the Sherman Oaks store could pop up again in brick-and-mortar or another form.

GRAY FADES TO BLACK: Lisa Kline and Tracey Ross are welcoming another member to the club of shuttered Los Angeles area boutiques. Belle Gray, the Sherman Oaks store started by acting couple Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna in 2003, closed Saturday. Belle Gray opened a second location in Calabasas in 2005 and shuttered that store four years later. It has been an influential purveyor of the California casual look with brands such as Michael Stars, J Brand and Joie. There’s no word yet on whether Belle Gray, which takes its name from the middle names of Hamlin and Rinna’s children, could pop up again in brick-and-mortar or another form.
