GOLDEN NINETIES: At 90 years old, Ottavio Missoni still carries a lot of weight in the fashion business. He also throws it: At the Italian track and field championship in Cosenza, Italy, held from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, the designer won a gold medal in both the shot put and the javelin, and a silver medal in the discus, all in the over-90 age category.
Missoni, whose autobiography came out earlier this year, was an athlete from an early age, and credits self-discipline for his success on and off the track.
