DESIGN FRIENDS: After teaming up with Estelle for jewelry, Rachel Roy has enlisted model Jessica Stam to co-design a capsule collection featuring a jean, a cardigan and a handbag for her Rachel Rachel Roy label. The pieces, which will launch in October, will be unveiled during New York Fashion Week in September. Roy and Stam will heavily rely on social media to launch the collection, with Twitter and Facebook updates and a behind-the-scenes video footage of the collaboration. "Fashion is something I grew up surrounded by, so now that I'm putting pen to paper the ideas are flying out," Stam said.
