GILT HELPS OUT: Gilt is doing its part to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The online shopping service has launched Donate Today, Save Tomorrow. Customers who log on to gilt.com/give and donate $25, $50 or $75 to the cause will receive a voucher for up to 50 percent off at any of the participating Sandy Relief merchants in New York City and across the country. Among the 70-plus merchants are Tribeca Grill, Setai Spa Wall Street, Clifton Charles, Bindle & Keep and Orla Kiely. Proceeds from the donations will go to one of six relief organizations including the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, Robin Hood Foundation, City Harvest, Habitat for Humanity, Food Bank NYC, and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.
