KUDOS FOR GILES: Giles Deacon scooped the Designer of the Year award earlier this week at the annual World Fashion Awards in Moscow. The evening is sponsored by the World Fashion Channel, an international TV channel with headquarters in Milan and Moscow. Other winners at the event included Cartier for the best video advertisement of the year and Artioli, for the best luxury men’s shoe, and Ermanno Scervino, who was honored as a fashion legend. The World Fashion Awards was founded by the World Fashion Channel in 2008 to recognize the most important fashion figures in the Russian market.
