EBay, CFDA Collaborate on Holiday Collective

Mara Hoffman, Michael Bastian, Milly, Rachel Zoe and Shipley & Halmos have created a limited-edition, customized collection of “wearable tech” bracelets.

GETTING TECHY: EBay is getting creative with the second edition of its Holiday Collective. The online retail giant has partnered with the Council of Fashion Designers of America and tapped five designers — Mara Hoffman, Michael Bastian, Milly, Rachel Zoe and Shipley & Halmos — to create a limited-edition, customized collection of “wearable tech” bracelets.

Each bracelet comes with an Apple adapter for iPhone 5 and 4/4S, which allows users to charge and transfer data from the iPhone or other devices, and is also compatible with iPods, Android smartphones and BlackBerry devices with a micro USB connector.

Retailing at a fixed, “Buy It Now” price of $25, the bracelets will be available beginning Nov. 11 at ebay.com/holidaycollective with all proceeds benefiting the CFDA.
