GAULTIER SHADES: Jean Paul Gaultier has teamed up with longtime friend and artisan Alain Mikli to launch an eyewear collection set to hit U.S. stores and Mikli boutiques in January. If eyewear enthusiasts can’t wait that long, the funky collection will be on display at the Dallas Museum’s exhibit entitled: “The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk,” from today to Feb 12. Retailing for between $285 and $400, the collaboration, which includes 12 eyeglasses and eight sunglasses, will be available for purchase at L’Optique Dallas and at the museum’s gift shop.
The Gaultier exhibition, which premiered in Montreal on June 15, will make its final stop in the U.S. at the de Young Museum in San Francisco in March.
