FULL PLATE: Ordinarily reserved for the SUVs of suburban moms, vanity license plates are getting a fashion-forward makeover. New York Fashion Week sponsor Mercedes-Benz has enlisted a slew of designers, models and front-row ubiquitors to create custom vanity tags set to be displayed on a nine-and-a-half-foot wall installation outside the Star Lounge at the tents at Lincoln Center during the fall runway shows. Fashion Plates participants include Charlotte Ronson, Karlie Kloss, Rachel Zoe and Billy Farrell. The pun and games will get under way on Feb. 7.
