SWIFT RECOVERY: This week has been quite a whirlwind for Taylor Swift, and the Tommy Hilfiger show on Thursday night was no exception. The comely country singer, who’s been in the headlines since Kanye West embarrassed her during the MTV Video Music Awards, attended the show alongside Naomi Watts, Penn Badgley, January Jones, Sarah Ferguson and Mary-Louise Parker.
Not surprisingly, photographers and reporters focused most of their attention on Swift, who gamely greeted fans and chatted up Russell Simmons and Badgley amid the mayhem. “It’s all a new experience,” said Swift, when asked about the increased attention since the VMAs. “I’m just excited to be here.”
