SWEATER WEATHER: L’Oréal heir and board member Jean-Victor Meyers was among guests crammed on to benches in a sweltering industrial space for Raf Simons’ men’s show on Wednesday night. Meyers, who earlier this year established a men’s knitwear line called Exemplaire with his friend Louis Leboiteux, said he would present their spring 2013 collection this week.
Asked if he would attend any more fashion shows in Paris, which goes from men’s straight to couture, he rattled off Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme and Bouchra Jarrar. Anything else? “No, we also have to work,” he said with a smile.
