Beth Ditto’s arrival at Nina Ricci Thursday night sent several guests into a tizzy, including Leigh Lezark of The Misshapes who went on to DJ at Jade Jagger’s party after the show. “I love the way she bares all,” cooed Lezark of The Gossip frontwoman, recalling a New York DJ gig where Ditto stripped down to her undies to sing. Ditto said she plans to keep her clothes on this week, however, especially at her gig for Fendi next week, for which she’ll don a custom-made dress.

For the Ricci show, the singer wore one of her favorite frocks by Charles Anastase. "It’s a sketch of a snake being eaten by a weasel,” said Ditto - who turned vegetarian two weeks ago - of its illustration. “Have some mercy,” Milla Jovovich scolded snap-happy photographers after the show. The actress is next playing a stripper in William Macy’s movie “Keep Coming Back.” Between shooting “A Night at the Opera” in New York, where she plays one of the main character’s many dates, French actress Josephine de la Baume is recording her first album with a band called Sing Tank. “It’s kind of soft rock,” she said. Lou Doillon meanwhile, said she needs to move on from independent movies and make a blockbuster if she’s to realize her dream of opening a concept store in Paris. “If I keep on making the same movies I’ll have a shop in 40 years,” Doillon said.
