MAD FOR MAX: As usual, Max Azria drew a slew of boldface names to sit front row at his Tuesday show. Lucy Liu, Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin and Mickey Rourke were some of the fresh faces alongside this week’s ubiquitous Leigh Lezark, Tinsley Mortimer and Kelly Rowland. After at least three shows and three outfit changes before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Rowland felt one thing: “Hungry. I just want something to eat.” Liukin spoke of being photographed for Azria’s ad campaign last season. “I got to use my gymnastic skills — in heels,” she mused. Rourke, on the other hand, was simply flattered to be asked to come. “I’ve only been to one other show in my life — Gaultier in Paris,” he said. “So when Max called and invited me, I thought I should probably be doing this more often.” Rourke confessed he prefers men’s shows, where he can actually wear what goes down the runway. When asked how he decides what to wear to awards shows and premieres, he said, “That depends how late I was up the night before.”
