After his show, Christian Lacroix himself headed to Givenchy’s show, where he cheerily posed for photographs, including with LVMH’s Delphine Arnault. “I feel relieved,” Lacroix said. “This is not the end. This is the beginning, that’s how I see it. It’s a new page.” Later, he was off to meet his workers for a much-needed drink. Fellow front-row guests included young European jet-setters Eugenie Niarchos, Olympia Scarry and Anna de Pahlen. Artist Yi Zhou said she’s completed a surreal video piece starring Pharrell Williams, which includes a journey inside his ear. “He got the concept right away,” she said.

Photographer Astrid Muñoz, meanwhile, said she turned the tables on Mario Testino, shooting him for Spain’s GQ. “He’s the one who launched my career,” she related. Joana Preiss, fresh from filming “We Are the Industry” by budding English director Matt Crockford, said she’s planning her own foray into directing.

And Pucci’s designer Peter Dundas, meanwhile, said he’s looking forward to a summer of extreme sport: kite surfing in Greece. “I actually got beaten up a lot last summer. When you hit the water hard it can really hurt.”
