MONTH BY MONTH: Emmanuelle Alt made her front-row debut as editor in chief of Vogue Paris at Alexis Mabille. Although her name will appear at the top of the masthead of the April issue — with Gisele Bündchen on the cover, photographed in St. Barts by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matatin — August will be the first month to completely reflect her new direction. Attending her first couture show, Anglo-French actress Jemima West, a former art history student, marveled at the sculpture-stuffed venue: the Musée Bourdelle. West is currently starring in the second series of French drama “Maison Close” about a trio of prostitutes. Actor Andy Gillet said he’s getting ready for a role in “Duchess of Varsovie,” which starts filming this summer in Paris.
