Vivienne Westwood Visits 'Occupy London'

According to British media reports, the designer spent a few hours at the tent city camp with her two sons on Monday night.

FROM SHANGHAI TO ST. PAUL'S: Dame Vivienne Westwood is one busy lady: She was in China late last month opening her first stand-alone shop and footwear exhibition, and earlier this week she was spotted supporting the anti-capitalist, anti-banking protestors who have been camping outside St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. According to British media reports, the designer visited the "Occupy London" tent city camp with her two sons, Joe Corré and Ben Westwood, on Monday night and spent a few hours there. A Westwood spokesperson declined to comment on the visit.

When she isn’t designing, Westwood is nearly a full-time activist, promoting a line of eco-friendly jewelry, railing against consumerism and popular culture, and fighting for the release of death row prisoners.
