French Accessories Site Launches in Italy and Germany

E-commerce site Monnier Freres aims to be in 26 languages by the end of next year.

ALL ACCESS PASS: French accessories e-commerce site Monnier Frères has its sights set on Europe. Launched in France in July, the site went live in Germany and Italy today and will add Great Britain next week, said Jean Monnier, who co-founded the company with his brother Guillaume. “We aim to be in 26 countries and 17 languages by next year,” he said, adding that Benelux, Switzerland and Scandinavia were next on the list.

Operated by e-commerce specialist Pixmania, Monnier Frères sells accessories by dozens of luxury brands including Pucci, Ralph Lauren, Valentino and Balmain. For spring-summer 2012, it will add Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Chloé, Tory Burch and Vanessa Bruno to its roster.
