MODEL SENTENCED: According to media reports the Chinese former model and actress Dong Mei has been sentenced by the Court of Rome to three years and four months in prison. This verdict arrives after a long investigation, which started in August 2011, when the model and her husband, Italian accountant Federico Di Lauro, were arrested during their vacation in Ponza, with the charge of money laundering by Italian police.
