A COLORFUL TROOP: The royal family was in full attendance at Queen Elizabeth’s official birthday celebration in London over the weekend. On Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Philip joined the Queen for the Trooping the Colour ceremony, the annual event held at the Horse Guards Parade to mark the Queen’s official birthday. Although the British monarch was born on April 21, it has been a tradition to celebrate her birthday during the summer with a procession that includes British troops from the Household Division carrying the colors of the British flag.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore an ice blue Alexander McQueen suit, which she paired with a cream Jane Taylor hat, while the Queen opted for a light blue Angela Kelly coat, dress and hat.
