MIXED DOUBLES: The Duchess of Cambridge and Pippa Middleton weren’t the only well-dressed sisters that photographers zeroed in on at Sunday’s men’s final at Wimbledon. Roger Federer’s two-year-old twins Myla and Charlene cheered him on wearing Oscar de la Renta dresses. The toddlers had kicked off their shoes but still wore their frilly white socks, by the time their father seized his seventh Wimbledon title and subsequently destroyed Andy Murray’s quest to be the first British player to win the singles’ title since Fred Perry in 1936.
In dresses from the designer’s spring children’s collection, the Federer girls appear to take fashion cues from their mother Mirka. She married the tennis ace wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown in his hometown of Basel, Switzerland, in 2009. And apparently Federer is also a fan of de la Renta — he was front row at one of the designer's runway shows a few seasons back.
