BLAST FROM THE PAST: Chaka Khan kept her fans waiting for more than two hours on Monday night but once she finally took the stage, the crowd at the Top of the Standard started jumping up and down, singing along to every word songs such as “Tell Me Something Good,” and “Sweet Thing.” Instyle editor Ariel Foxman stayed for the late show, joining Heather Graham, Richard Chai, Genevieve Jones and Dean Winters for the Khan’s short set. As Khan, wearing a sheer Linda Strokes dress, belted out “I Feel For You,” Graham and co., sang along to every word. The next day, a Tweet from Foxman sort of summed up the energy of the event: “I feel for you @standarde. Last night’s #ChakaKahn concert was everything.”
