LONDON, MATE: No one can claim to be more international when it comes to staging fashion shows than Karl Lagerfeld, who has done them in locales ranging from New York to Tokyo. Now add London to the list. The designer plans to show Chanel's luxury pre-fall collection in the English capital in early December, likely at an art gallery. "I think London can be fun," he says.

SKELETON CREW: No bones about it, Prada's hotly anticipated party during New York Fashion Week will have a strong artsy bent. OK, maybe some bones. Revelers on Sept. 7 will take in a private concert by rockers The Hours under a gigantic skull-shape mirror ball designed by none other than Damien Hirst, who has also created skull-studded wallpaper that will decorate the monumental wall in Prada's SoHo store, site of the bash. The British artist, pal of the band, is expected to attend, with LCD Soundsystem supplying beats for the after party.

NOISE MAKERS: Amid all the hullabaloo about an impending celebrity drought during New York Fashion Week, Roberto Cavalli is promising to provide a star-packed night on Sept. 7 for the opening of his Just Cavalli flagship on Fifth Avenue. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests like Diane Kruger, beau Joshua Jackson and Mena Suvari are expected to help Cavalli and his wife, Eva, rock out to tunes spun by British DJ duo, The Queens of Noize.

SIXTY HITS THE TENTS: Miss Sixty is making some changes for New York Fashion Week. The company, which usually shows away from Bryant Park, will appear at the tents for the first time. Miss Sixty has taken the 10 a.m. slot on Sept. 6, but the early hour isn't keeping the celebrities away: Hilary Swank and Maggie Gyllenhaal are already confirmed for the front row.
