ISABELLA BLOW SERVICES: A funeral service for Isabella Blow will take place Tuesday at Gloucester Cathedral in Gloucester, England — the same church in which the stylist and fashion editor got married to Detmar Blow in 1989. Isabella Blow, 48, died Monday at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

ON-SCREEN STYLE: Chanel's cruise show is seven days away, but those who can't wait to find out what trick Karl Lagerfeld has up his sartorial sleeve this time should log onto their computers now. Starting today through next Friday, Chanel is offering daily podcasts with tidbits about the inspirations for this cruise collection. Chanel is staging the show at the Santa Monica Airport in Los Angeles, so naturally, today's podcast shows airplanes, as well as Chanel suitcases going through an airport's X-ray machines. The podcasts will be available on iTunes, and can also be subscribed to on chanel.com. If the inspirations don't satisfy, the show itself will be available on Chanel's site on May 19.

SIENNA IN STORE:
It looks like Sienna and Savannah Miller are getting a brand new store in which to launch their clothing line, Twenty8Twelve by s.miller. Industry sources say a Twenty8Twelve store is set to open in London's Notting Hill in September, which will carry the Brit Miller sisters' debut collection for fall. The line, which Savannah has said draws its inspiration from Dickensian London by way of Patti Smith, includes pieces such as sharply tailored wool jackets and trousers, Empire line silk smock dresses, skinny jeans and silk and jersey tops. It will retail from about $75 for a silk jersey tank to $650 for a leather jacket. Shoes by the designer Jenne O are also set to be sold at the new store.

Aside from their own retail venture, the Millers' line will be sold at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman in the U.S., Holt Renfrew in Canada and Harvey Nichols and Matches in the U.K.

HOMELAND HERO: Bottega Veneta creative director Tomas Maier is the recipient of this year's German Forum Preis award, which recognizes creativity and excellence in design. The native German is the first fashion designer to receive the annual award given by the German trade magazine TextilWirschraft. "It's especially moving to receive this award in Germany, where I was born and raised," Maier said in a statement. The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, just days before Maier was expected in Tokyo to fete the opening of Bottega Veneta's largest store ever, located in the tony Ginza district.
PARSONS, 0, KENT, 1: Carmen Marc Valvo may call Parsons The New School for Design his alma mater, but as the honoree and judge for the "Stretch to the Future" Design Competition, which partnered RadiciSpandex Corp. and The Fashion School of Kent State University, Valvo wasn't showing school pride. "Parsons has become a machine in the past few years," Valvo said Tuesday night in presenting the student awards. "In judging this competition, it was really rewarding to realize there is a place where students get one-on-one attention and can really grow. I was really impressed by the designs." Twenty-three Kent students tried their hand at using stretch fabrics, and Valvo and RadiciSpandex chief executive officer Marty Moran presented scholarship awards to the competition's three top winners: grand prize and swimwear winner Kristy Chen, first prize and eveningwear winner Teresa Calabrese, and second prize and sportswear winner Stephanie Green. In honor of Radici's Italian roots, the event was held at the Italian Trade Commission.
