ISAACS TO ISAAC: Could Peter Rizzo, chairman and chief executive officer of I.C. Isaacs, be heading to Isaac Mizrahi? Speculation is rife that the former president of Bergdorf Goodman has left the New York denim company, which holds the U.S. license for Marithé & François Girbaud, to run the Mizrahi men's business, possibly as president. Rizzo joined I.C. Isaacs in 2004. Mizrahi launched his men's wear collection at Bergdorf Goodman Men last fall, and is expected to grow that business in the future. The company declined comment on Rizzo's hire.

CAROLINA STYLE: Interior designer Charlotte Moss is going for a fashionable look for her New York flagship at 20 East 64th Street, which opens today. Moss chose to deck out her sales staff in Carolina Herrera suits from the spring collection, including black and chalk designs, in pieces such as a pencil skirt, a tailored jacket and a wide-legged pant. "In dressing the team, I knew I wanted classic, tailored, feminine looks," Moss explained. "These are terms that are synonymous with Carolina Herrera." And that's not all. The mezzanine of the five-story town house will offer "vintage" dresses from the likes of Versace Atelier, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin and Givenchy.

PACKIN' IN: Barneys New York certainly seems to be the place celebrities like to shop — on both coasts. Marc Jacobs and Naomi Campbell hit the L.A. flagship on Sunday. Across the country in Manhattan on Saturday, several stars were indulging in their own retail therapy. Broadway veteran Bernadette Peters browsed the purses on the first floor before heading upstairs to Fred's for brunch. Photographer Terry Richardson perused the shoes in the men's store, and D.L. Hughley of "Studio 60" looked at men's wallets before scooting over to the women's store to check out bags. But Penelope Cruz proved to be the power shopper of the bunch. After checking her BlackBerry as she left Fred's, the Spanish actress, clad in wide-legged jeans and a jacket, perused nearly every floor on her way out of the store.
