MOSS PIT: Kate Moss could be headed to Paris couture week, but not for the catwalk. According to a source, the model's boyfriend, Jamie Hince, has been booked along with The Kills' bandmate Alison Mosshart to perform at the 60th anniversary bash for Longchamp. The event will take place at the Elysée Montmartre on July 2.
SEWN UP: Earnest Sewn is heading to the beach this summer. On Thursday, the denim brand will open the doors of its Long Island outpost, located on Job's Lane in Southampton. It will be the third store for the company, which already boasts two boutiques in Manhattan. In addition to togs from all of its labels, including the recently launched diffusion line Earnest I Am, the new 1,300-square-foot space will stock odds and ends such as Jorge & Olif bikes and Phaidon art books. Behind the main store, discounted items will be available in an Earnest Sewn outlet. Come fall, two Earnest Sewn boutiques will open in Los Angeles — one in Malibu and one on the corner of Beverly and Gardner.
POSTER BOY: David Beckham's got his kit off again, this time on the beach. The soccer star will unveil a giant mural of his new ad campaign for Emporio Armani underwear at Macy's in San Francisco on Wednesday. Following the previous shots of the lithe Beckham sporting an unbuttoned white shirt and briefs earlier this year, the new global campaign features five new images of Beckham in Emporio Armani undies on Malibu beach, again photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The campaign will appear on emporioarmani.com from June 23 and make its print magazine debut in the August edition of Vanity Fair. The new Emporio Armani underwear collection hits stores in Europe in July and in the U.S. in August.
