FASHION ROCKS: The fashion crowd was treated to a double dose of rock ’n’ roll icons Thursday evening, with Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses performing at a John Varvatos party, while across town Patti Smith tore it up at the LNA fete at Milk Gallery. Fittingly, Rose rocked out at the Varvatos boutique on Bowery Street, which previously housed the legendary CBGB venue — singing 17 songs, including crowd-pleasers “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City” and “Sweet Child O’Mine.” “I have no voice left. This was an epic evening,” said an elated Varvatos, who cohosted the event with L’Uomo Vogue. On hand were Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, Sean Lennon, newly minted Bravo reality star Kelly Cutrone and Eighties rock relic Sebastian Bach. Smith, meanwhile, sang a 45-minute set for a packed crowd of dancing hipsters, dedicating her last song to the late Alexander McQueen.
