CHLOE'S CLOTHES: As if four shows per time slot weren't enough to make everyone in fashion groan, Chloë Sevigny just made the schedule a little bit tighter. A latecomer to the schedule, she will present a collection for Opening Ceremony during fashion week. Sevigny is working with Opening Ceremony owner Humberto Leon and "some friends," according to an e-mail teaser from her camp. Hoping to keep things on more egalitarian ground, Sevigny has opted to show in the very civilized manner of a presentation, between noon and 6 p.m. on Sept. 10.

VEGAS VIXENS: It can be boring making all those personal appearances to hawk your celebrity fashion line. Just ask Paris Hilton, who made a landing at WWDMAGIC in Las Vegas before jetting off to Mallorca, Spain, with Eva Longoria for a charity event. Teetering on 6-inch heels and visibly yawning, a short-haired Hilton greeted fans and buyers for her Paris Hilton line for Dollhouse. "This is my first clothing line and people are excited, the clothes are phenomenal," said Hilton, who wore a striped fluorescent pink T-shirt adorned with her image and skinny black jeans from her moderately priced collection. Buyers from stores such as Macy's were enthusiastic, as were fans, who began lining up early around the booth hours before the starlet's appearance. But while an overextended Hilton could barely keep her eyes open, later that night Eve and Ciara buzzed with energy at a poolside party for Fetish and Rocawear. Reigning over separate cabanas at Tao Beach nightclub, Ciara, the face of Rocawear's fall ad campaign, and Eve, who's relaunching her Fetish label, gushed about fashion. "I said, 'I have to have it,'" Eve recalled of the snug denim Fetish vest she chose for the bash. Ciara, meanwhile, said she's picking up pointers from Rocawear for her own future clothing label. "The ultimate goal for the clothing is to be affordable," said the 21-year-old, squeezed into a striped Rocawear sweater dress with gold accents. As for concerns of spreading herself too thin, Ciara advised, "You get energy from wanting to be successful."
