CHAT IN STYLE: Versace’s first luxury mobile phone will be unveiled next week in Paris during the Couture. The Italian house has licensed Paris-based ModeLabs Group to produce and globally distribute the phone. The commercial launch is scheduled for the spring. ModeLabs, a custom design specialist, also makes and distributes phones for Dior, Tag Heuer and Lacoste, among others.
Other fashion brands that have unveiled cell phone ventures include Giorgio Armani, Prada and Dolce & Gabbana.
