TALK TALK: From out-of-whack delivery cycles to the importance of sustainability and social awareness in fashion, Donna Karan has many thoughts on the future of fashion. On Feb.4, she will share some at Parsons The New School for Design, when she will take to the stage at the Tishman Auditorium at The New School for a conversation with Valerie Steele, director and chief curator of The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The event will serve to mark the fall launch of Parsons’ M.F.A. program in Fashion Design and Society, which came together with the support of Karan, herself a Parsons alumna. Karan is expected to discuss everything from her career to her advice for young and emerging designers.
