DESIGNS ON SOCCER: Giorgio Armani will continue to kit out London’s Chelsea Football Club soccer team with their off-field wardrobe. To mark his second year as the team’s official tailor, Armani has designed a navy, single-breasted, two-button lightweight wool suit for the team, with flat-fronted trousers and a fitted jacket with mirror lapels. “Chelsea F.C. is known worldwide for the quality of its game and the internationalism of its players,” said Armani, whose partnership with the soccer team will span three years.

The Chelsea suit is worn with a white cotton shirt and silk tie in the club’s signature light blue. The players also will be provided with a navy round-neck jumper and velour cloth and cashmere blend coat. The suit is available to buy at Emporio Armani stores in the U.K. and retails at 589 pounds, or $1,105 at current exchange.

FAIR TRADE FARHI: London-based ethical jewelry label Made has created a capsule collection for designer Nicole Farhi under the name Made for Nicole Farhi. Jewelry designer Pippa Small, who already works on her own line for Made, has designed the collection, which comprises earrings and necklaces fashioned from brass discs with an uneven, distressed texture all linked together. The entire collection has been assembled by Made’s fair trade producers in Kenya. Prices for the line start at 159 pounds, or $298, for a charm bracelet and rise to 399 pounds, or $747, for a necklace made from three layered tiers of brass discs. The collection will be available to buy in Nicole Farhi stores and via Made’s Web site, made.uk.com, beginning later this month. Made described its collaboration with Farhi as an “ongoing” relationship.
