Fashion Fringe's New Judges... Jackie Rogers Fetes Palm Beach Boutique...

London’s Fashion Fringe program has two new judges for its 2011 program — Claudia Schiffer and Roland Mouret.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER: Winding down a busy season of Palm Beach galas, Jackie Rogers finally toasted her new boutique. The party last Friday occurred four months to the day that she opened in 2,200 square feet on 150 Worth’s second level, quite a turnaround from her previous quarters on Via Mizner. “I got more browsers at my old place, whereas this is more about serious buyers,” she said, while helping a patron choose styles like gazar blouses, and satin gowns with knotted twist fronts and shoulder rosettes. “I just send a model down Worth Avenue, and they follow her here.”

Closing this location roughly from August to November, she plans to operate a much smaller boutique on East Hampton’s New Town Lane during summer. Favoring ready-to-wear, it stocks her Gin Lane seersucker collection with a love-knot theme this season, as well as new khaki pieces embellished with grommets retailing from $695 to $1,095. This summer, Rogers will expand her Inseparables concept for Lord & Taylor. Mix and match staples in red, black and white crepe retail from $200 to $500.

“Everything can be worn year-round, since I don’t believe in seasonal clothing,” she said.
