Eyan Allen Exits Hugo Boss

The womenswear brand creative director has left the company, following the appointment of Jason Wu on Monday to the new position of artistic director.

EXITING BOSS: The pace of creative change continues at Hugo Boss. Boss Womenswear brand and creative director Eyan Allen has left the company, following the appointment of Jason Wu on Monday to the new position of artistic director. Allen joined Boss in 2007, where he first oversaw the coordination of the Hugo collections. He then assumed creative direction for Boss Orange, and finally was named creative director for all the group’s women’s wear offerings. The position of brand and creative director Womenswear will not be replaced, a Boss spokeswoman confirmed. Allen could not be reached for comment.

The design teams for Hugo and Boss Orange will now report directly to Christoph Auhagen, member of the management board for brand management, creative management, sourcing and manufacturing.
