The Italian house is said to be eyeing Jean-Louis Scherrer’s longtime flagship, situated between the Gianfranco Ferré and Bonpoint stores. Hermès confirmed it recently snapped up Scherrer’s only other stand-alone store in Cannes, adding to speculation Scherrer is on shaky ground. A Scherrer spokeswoman declined all comment.
