ELYSE KROLL SAID TO EXIT ENK: Elyse Kroll is departing ENK International, the trade show company she founded in 1982 as ENK Productions Ltd, according to sources. Kroll sold a substantial stake in ENK International to private investment firm Forstmann Little & Co. in 2006, which also owns IMG. Kroll remained with the company as chairman.
Early in her career, Kroll headed up public relations at The Collective men’s wear show, which she ended up acquiring and growing into ENK International. Today, the company’s properties include the ENK NYC men’s show, Accessorie Circuit, Intermezzo Collections, Children’s Club, the ENK WSA shoe show, ENK Vegas men’s show, Fashion Coterie, Sole Commerce and TMRW.
A representative for ENK said the company had no comment at press time and that ENK president Tom Nastos was on vacation. E-mails and calls to Kroll, Nastos and other ENK executives were not returned by press time.
