HAWKE TO CHANEL: Ellie Hawke is joining Chanel Inc. as vice president of public relations of fashion, watches and fine jewelry, effective Nov. 1. Hawke was most recently vice president of public relations at Christian Dior Couture, where she spent the past four years. At Chanel, she will be taking over responsibilities from Iana dos Reis Nunes, who left the house in July, and report directly to Rebekah McCabe, Chanel’s senior vice president of creative services and public relations.
In related news, McCabe’s role at Chanel has also expanded. The executive is adding store design and in-store animation for fragrance and beauty to her existing responsibilities.
