LIVE FROM VIENNA: Had Diane von Furstenberg chosen not to become a princess and designer, she sure could have tried out for a spot on the Radio City Rockettes with her set of pins. She didn’t, of course, but next month, DVF may come pretty close, having tapped the Rockettes to perform for her at the Life Ball 2010. The legendary dancers will be wearing DVF wrap rompers from von Furstenberg’s cruise collection for a choreographed fashion segment. “There is nothing more New York than the Radio City Rockettes,” von Furstenberg said. “We are pleased to bring those legs, those kicks and those glamorous women with us to Vienna.” Von Furstenberg is participating at the July 17 festivities, which serve as the opening of the Life Ball and the XVIII International AIDS Conference, alongside Kenneth Cole and Calvin Klein Collection’s Francisco Costa.
