The Duchess of Cambridge was on the charity beat again Wednesday.
Her latest engagement saw her attend an education forum run by the children’s mental health charity Place2Be — of which she is a patron — held in London’s Canary Wharf area.
Kate dressed in navy for the occasion, wearing a pleated, above-the-knee navy skirt by Orla Kiely (she'd worn a shirt-dress by Kiely for another charity visit Tuesday) with a fitted blue zippered jacket by MaxMara.
During the visit, the duchess listened to speeches by academics about safeguarding children’s mental health, and met a number of school children. After the speeches, Kate stayed at the forum longer than planned, speaking to clinical psychologist and broadcaster Professor Tanya Byron about child development and issues facing young people. “She’s genuinely engaged with the issues,” Byron told Press Association. "When I was speaking, she said to the person next to her, 'I hope you're making notes.'"
Bonita Refson, the chief executive of Place2Be, said that the duchess’ visit was “a huge honor.” “We truly value her shared passion and commitment to supporting children’s mental health,” said Refson.
