DUCHESS ON DUTY: The Duchess of Cambridge has not had much time to put up her L.K. Bennett-clad feet this week, attending a series of events around London. On Wednesday she attended the recently refurbished Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire to meet a professional code breaker who had worked with her paternal grandmother, Valerie Glassborow during World War Two. Kate’s grandmother managed the interception of signals for decryption at Bletchley Park for the British government. The young royal toured the renovated facility to mark the end of an 8 million pounds, or $13.6 million, restoration project. She wore a navy skirt and white blouse from Alexander McQueen.
Earlier in the week, she watched the yearly procession of members of the medieval Order of the Garter — of which her husband Prince William is a member — in Windsor. Held on Monday at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the ceremony saw the Garter Knights march through the castle grounds. Members of The Most Noble Order of the Garter include Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales, other members of the British royal family and foreign monarchs. The duchess wore a light blue Christopher Kane coat and a Lock & Co. hat.
