DOUBLE DUTY: The Duchess of Cambridge walked the red carpet in a draped, knee-length Roksanda Ilincic dress when she attended a reception for the U.K.’s creative industries at London’s Royal Academy of Arts Monday evening. Kate wore the pale gray number as she was greeted by British Prime Minister David Cameron. The reception is part of the U.K. government’s GREAT campaign, which was launched to promote the country’s trade and tourism internationally during the Olympic year. Among the guests were Lily Cole, Stella McCartney and Tracey Emin.
The duchess’ appearance marked a quick change from earlier in the afternoon, when she joined her husband, William, Prince Harry and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to watch Zara Phillips compete in the Olympic cross-country equestrian event. Kate wore an Adidas Team GB shirt to the event in South London, which she paired with a navy blazer and pants. Phillips and the British team will compete in the third part of the event, show jumping, today. The British team currently stands in second place, behind Germany.
