Museum of the City of New York Hosting Panel on Studio 54

The gathering is part of a finale of sorts for the exhibition “Stephen Burrows: When Fashion Danced,” which closes July 28.

DISCO INFERNO: This week’s heat wave in New York should be no deterrent for the Studio 54 regulars and hangers-on who are expected at Wednesday’s “Studio 54 and Beyond: New York’s 1970s Club Scene” discussion. All of the panelists — journalists Vince Aletti and Bob Colacello, former busboy and former Nobu owner Richie Notar and Pat Cleveland, as well as Myra Scheer and Marc Benecke, the hosts of “The Marc & Myra Show,” spent many a night dancing with 1,900 others. And the crowd at The Museum of the City of New York should be considerably more tame with 90 expected. The gathering is part of a finale of sorts for the exhibition “Stephen Burrows: When Fashion Danced,” which closes July 28.
