LACMA LATEST WEARABLES: Los Angeles-based designers George Esquivel, Claire Vivier and Anita Ko are the latest to pair up with Los Angeles County Museum of Art for the Wear LACMA initiative. Inspired by artworks in the museum’s permanent collection, the limited edition shoes, T-shirts, bags and jewelry will be available on Net-a-Porter, the LACMA store and its website beginning Wednesday, with proceeds benefitting the museum. Sponsored by LACMA’s Director’s Circle and members Willow Bay and Katherine Ross, the project has included pieces from Juan Carlos Obando, Gregory Parkinson, Libertine, Jennifer Meyer and Greg Chait, among others.
