DASHING TO DOVER STREET: Jimmy Choo will open a new men’s store in London at 35a Dover Street, just two blocks away from its Bond Street store. The new 1,200-square-foot store will spread across two floors and house a complete assortment of Jimmy Choo men’s shoes and accessories, including bags, belts, scarves and small leather goods. The store will replace the existing Jimmy Choo men’s unit in Mayfair’s Burlington Arcade.
“Dover Street is fast becoming a shopping destination for luxury fashion and cutting-edge designers. The store is an exciting next step in the growth of Jimmy Choo Men,” said Pierre Denis, the brand’s chief executive officer.
The estate agents Savills in London said the brand signed a 10-year lease on the store and will pay 130,000 pounds, or $209,300 at current exchange, per annum. The brand has women’s stores on Bond and Sloane Streets, and at the Westfield London shopping mall.
