WADE’S WORD: Danielle Trussoni’s “Angelopolis” six-city book tour started Tuesday, but she had her wardrobe squared away weeks ago, thanks to Jessica Wade. The TriBeCa-based designer hooked her up with a backless top, eight-part duchess satin pants, a jacket and other customized styles for her first reading and book party. The pair first became friendly through one of Wade’s 200-plus clients. Their shared interest in travel, art history and fashion made them fast friends. In recent summers, Wade has gone to Paris with her husband, a French literature professor at Fordham University who runs the school’s summer Study Abroad program. Trussoni was a vintage clothing buyer for years before she published her first book “Falling Through The Earth.”

After working for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and others for 20 years, Wade went out on her own in 2008 but she is not floored by celebrity dressing. “We have a policy where we don’t give away clothing. One, we are way too small and two we choose not to,” said Wade, noting that VIPs are welcome to borrow clothing or buy it. “But we do like seeing the collection on people who feel passionate about their art.”
