CLINTON VISITS HAITIAN FACTORY: Former President Clinton visited philanthropic apparel manufacturer Industrial Revolution II on Tuesday as part of his 48-hour trip to Haiti for The Clinton Foundation. To promote the foundation’s renewed investments and partnerships in Haiti, Clinton met with IRII founding partner and ceo Rob Broggi and founding partner Joey Adler, who is also ceo of Diesel Canada. While on site, Clinton toured IRII’s production facility in support of its mission to create long-term, sustainable economic development within the region of Port-au-Prince.

On the trip, The Clinton Foundation awarded a $28,000 grant to Fonkoze, a Haitian microfinance organization, following a $250,000 grant given last year to Haitian recycling plant Sustainable Recycling Solutions, in efforts to further revitalize Port-Au-Prince.
