ELEGANT ETCHINGS: Claridge’s hotel will host an exhibition to showcase the work of its artists in residence, fashion illustrator David Downton, during London Fashion Week. Downton, a regular fixture at the couture shows in Paris, joined Claridge’s as its official fashion artist in residence in June 2011 and has since captured the likenesses of the grand establishment’s most notable guests, including Laura Bailey, Joan Collins, Alber Elbaz, Diane von Furstenburg, Stephen Jones, Christian Louboutin, Paul Smith and Dita Von Teese. Claridge’s is Claridge’s and everywhere else is everywhere else...”
