CHECK THE DATE: Diesel founder Renzo Rosso celebrated April Fool’s Day pulling a prank on the Web. Rosso put his entire denim brand up for sale on eBay on Sunday morning around 8 a.m. To promote the bid, he also sent a tweet from his personal account. “Finally something nice on @eBay…office supplies and inventory included…an offer you can’t refuse… :-))),” wrote Rosso, without indicating a suggested price for the business. According to the company, fans of the brand immediately replied, offering to buy the company to save it from the clutches of potential Chinese investors. The retail site removed the listing an hour later.
